How We Can Break the Power of Leviathan in the United States

I do not often get involved in politics but it is sure apparent that the evil spirit of Leviathan is operating strongly in the United States. We know that in true, effective intercession we must not look through our minds but hear from the Lord and walk by His power and revelation: “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Gal 5:25), since we are to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding (Prov 3:5-6).

Leviathan has long been seen and studied in the Church; but we as Christians must follow Holy Spirit and urgently recognize it in the government and media – then subdue it.

Jer 1:10 says: “See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” We must put this evil spirit on notice, expose it, remove it, then rebuild and replace with God’s kingdom goodness; and we can do this safely.

Biblically, Leviathan is a truth-twisting spirit, king of the children of pride (see Job 41). Leviathan lies to keep its dominion and power by contorting communication and evidence to do so. It twists its victim to drown it, bringing death even to the victim’s finances. Leviathan loves chaos and lawlessness as it feeds on envy and jealousy. It stubbornly refuses to give up its power and territory, relentlessly controlling to keep its domination. It will do anything to keep its wealth, fame and power by intimidation and threats, instilling fear in all who succumb. Sound familiar?

It was Leviathan that twisted God’s truth by promoting pride in Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden in the origin of humanity in the first place. And now this can be seen easily in what is occurring in United States politics and media which also effects the whole world. Perhaps the most telling is that the spirit of Leviathan always accuses others of what they are doing themselves which in psychology is called “projection.” Here are just a few examples of what we see being projected:

  1. Progressives say they are promoters of and protectors of women; but they put women in danger in sports against those born male and are not concerned about rapists and murderers of women and children by those who have entered the United States illegally.
  2. They accuse President Trump of being Hitler, and his followers Nazis; but they advocate experimentation with caustic drugs and mutilating sex-change surgery on children without parental permission and distort media stories with lies and opinions to suit their progressive liberal godless agenda to control the people.
  3. They claim that conservatives made “cheap fake” videos to show Biden in mental decline, riots in Los Angeles, and genocide in South Africa; but lied to the American people as to what was really going on in the White House with Biden’s mental state and ability to do the work, Hunter’s laptop, Russian collusion and Benghazi, and now they say that the riots are peaceful.
  4. They claim to be the political party of peace and love; but they burn Teslas, riot, destroy property, help promote genocide of the Jewish people, assassination of the President and murder of Cabinet members.
  5. They say that conservatives are racists; but they take freedoms away from Christians and Jews, imprisoning Grandmothers who peacefully pray on the sidewalk, and disrupt Christian worship and information booths on campuses.
  6. They have accused Pres. Trump of conflicts of interest; but allow those like the Bidens, Clintons, Leticia James and others to become rich off taxpayer money, fraudulent deals and conflicts of interest.
  7. They accuse conservatives of taking away or restricting Medicare and Medicaid which is untrue; but the truth is that Republicans are truly working on saving these programsvby exposing fraud and money waste to continue to fund these departments and keep this country from going bankrupt.
  8. They say that conservatives alter history and are ignorant; but they do not know the history of Israel, that Mohammed was born 6-10 thousand years after the First Jewish Temple was built in Jerusalem, that the Al-Aqsa mosque was built after and over the First and Second Jewish Temples in Jerusalem, and do not recognize any scientifically verified archeology in Jerusalem or Israel as historical fact. They do not realize that Hamas are the ones that started the Oct. 7 war and still have not returned hostages, that Hamas starves their people by stealing donated food to show the world a false story, and allow their own people to be killed, putting children and patients in harm’s way. Progressives do not recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization nor see their ways of operation and deception. They do not recognize the money spent by Israel with healthcare, food and jobs for the Palestinian people, and do not know which river and sea they want the Israelis to be annihilated between.
  9. They say conservatives are violating the Constitution by sending illegal aliens back to their country of citizenry; but facts are that every President has done the same to hundreds of thousands including Biden and Obama because the law states that it has been illegal to cross the border without proper application since 1929, punishable by imprisonment (see https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1325). They lie that without illegals working farms, that we would not have food in this country but the truth is that illegal farmworkers only make up 20% of the total, are paid under that table, not paying taxes, and getting free healthcare while legal immigrants are looking for this type of job.
  10. They claim that conservatives are the “oligarchy” and the rich establishment; but Pres. Trump and Republicans are helping working families like those in the auto industry, farming, unions, those who live on tips and overtime, people receiving Medicare and Medicaid, creating more jobs while Pres. Obama’s house is for sale in Massachusetts for $3.9 million and progressive leaders use taxpayer money to fly on private jets and wear expensive designer outfits to the Met Gala, do illegal stock trading and become rich from the office they hold.
  11. They preach climate change but allow the mismanagement of our forests and water systems, save tiny animals and fish not even native to the area, make it law that drivers must drive electric vehicles and outlaw gas ranges; but they let people, homes, forests, animals and businesses burn in horrible fires. Also, they hypocritically burn electric vehicles, buy large gas-guzzlers and fly in private jets.
  12. They say Musk is Hitler and rich oligarchy, claiming he was not elected; but he has been working for free, saving this nation billions of dollars and bringing government tech into the 21st century; but neither were Fauci, Hilary Clinton as Secretary of State, James Comey, Alejandro Mayorkas, or Jill Biden elected. And we now know that President Biden was not even running the country during his presidency.
  13. And maybe the clincher is that people, including Nancy Pelosi, said Trump is senile; but lied about Biden being mentally fit to do his job, mocking those who told the truth.

There are many more examples that make this a firm conviction that the evil truth-twisting spirit led by pride, greed and power has operated in our government and media, too many to mention. But it must go.

People erroneously say we cannot fight Leviathan; however, there are many things we certainly can do safely and effectively. Some quote the Old Testament scripture where God asks Job whether he can bind Leviathan in Job 41:1-4. Well, of course Job could not because Jesus had not died yet, had not been raised from the dead, and had not taken back the keys to death, hell and the grave (Rev 1:18). However, if you have not been trained to do it or do not feel comfortable with binding there are many other steps to weaken and rid us of this spirit.

Here are some things we can all do safely that have a huge effect, especially collectively and with the Word of God:

  1. Tell the spirit of Leviathan to never operate in the United States again, that America belongs to God. Luke 10:19; Philippians 2:9-10; Mark 16:17; Psalm 91:13; John 14:12
  2. Repent for whatever opened the door to these spirits to enter in the first place. Prov 26:2; Hosea 4:6; Eph 4:27
  3. Plead the Blood of Jesus over America and its 7 Kingdom Mountain structures. Rev 12:11; 2 Cor 10:3-4
  4. Decree and declare that Leviathan cannot speak to any government official or through any media outlet; that these spirits are mute. Eph 6:12; Luke 10:19; Jer 29:12; Matt 4:10
  5. Declare exposure to Leviathan and all its lies and false accusations by the light of God. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5; Isaiah 54:17; Job 34: 22
  6. Send confusion into the enemy’s camp. Deut 7:23; Exodus 23:27; Ps 68:1
  7. Demand that the spirit of Leviathan pay back 7-fold for all he has taken from us. Prov 6:31
  8. Go to God’s courtroom and ask for justice. Luke 18:7; Isa 30:18
  9. Declare that the evildoers have the fear of God come upon them and repent. James 4:7; Philippians 2:9-10; Acts 3:19; 1 John 3:8
  10. Pray for God to heal the evildoers, for their salvation and for God to show them how much He loves them. John 3:16-17; 1 Tim 2:1; Rom 10:1
  11. Declare the opposite of what Leviathan has done by declaring good communication, truth, life and salvation into its place. John 10:10; 1 Tim 2:8; James 1:19; John 8:12
  12. Rejoice and thank God for the victory. 1 Corinthians 15:57; 1 John 4:4
