How to Pray about the Coronavirus

COVID2

Many intercessors have asked how to intercede against the COVID-19 virus. Agree and declare the following out loud. Above all declare what the Lord says as He directs you. The Bible says to do this in Job 22:28 (““Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”). We are able to do this by the power of Jesus’ shed Blood if He is our Lord. Do more than just make requests to the Lord or say “I stand against” to eradicate this sickness but MOVE this virus out of existence by the NAME and the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST, which is what HE purchased for us on the cross.

  1. We decree and declare according to Job 22:28 that this evil virus called COVID-19 dies in all countries, all houses, all hospitals, all businesses, and all cities whether on surfaces or whether in human bodies, in Jesus’ matchless name.
  2. We plead the powerful Blood of Jesus Christ over the people that are affected, their families and friends, and over all the surfaces where it lands and inhabits in Jesus’ mighty name.
  3. We declare protection for our friends, families, businesses, and lands in Jesus’ perfect name.
  4. We decree and declare that an effective, low-cost, and powerful vaccine will be found immediately that does not have adverse side effects, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  5. We decree and declare that people will not be in denial, have wisdom, be responsible for hygiene and will heed what the authorities say is safe for all in Jesus’ mighty name and will continue safe hygiene for the rest of their lives.
  6. We decree and declare that no more mutations of any Corona-type virus will arise in Jesus’ name and by the Blood of the Lamb.
  7. We decree and declare that people will not hoard necessary items and will not scam people for any item that is necessary in this ungodly event and that people will be responsible and peaceable in shopping, in Jesus’ name.
  8. We decree and declare that people will help the elderly and handicapped, those unable to get groceries and supplies, and those who need to work and need help with their children, in Jesus’ name.
  9. We decree and declare that all businesses, the stock markets, and economies will bounce back speedily in Jesus’ matchless name as businesses prosper.
  10. We decree and declare that all service workers and healthcare workers, first-responders and teachers are safe and protected from the virus as well as harmful people, in Jesus’ powerful name.
  11. We decree and declare that this evil threat and device of satan ceases and desists NOW all over the world in Jesus’ all-powerful name.
  12. We decree and declare that people will not panic and not experience mental illness events or loneliness due to this scare in Jesus’ name.
  13. We decree and declare that the unsaved will know that these things will happen in the Last Days that people will act more ungodly when events in the Great Tribulation (pestilences etc.) occur like this – so that multitudes accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior right now in Jesus’ matchless name.
  14. We decree and declare that single parents, as well as all parents, will have the means and support when their children are not allowed to go to school and that the children are safe from all harm, in Jesus’ matchless name.
  15. We also decree and declare by the mighty power of Jesus and His shed Blood that there is no deception in the reporting or the discussion of this calamity, that only the truth can be told.
  16. Now we decree and declare Psalm 91 out loud over our bodies, that of our friends and families, churches, businesses, governments. and all lands in Jesus’ powerful name. (Insert your name, their name, your city name, your nation, business, etc. into these scriptures): Psalm 91 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. (KJV)
  17. We bind all backlash, retaliation, and revenge and stop all assignments of the enemy against what we declared, and for any reason against us, all our families and friends (and the land and its people and our destinies) in Jesus’ mighty name. And we) stop all communication of the enemy about our intercession, in Jesus’ mighty name. We plead the Blood of Jesus and place the hedge of protection around us and all that pertains to us, all our families and friends and all that pertains to them, in Jesus’ mighty name. For Intercessors: A New Decade and Beyond

el int 2020

By Melissa Nordell

Now is the dawning of a new decade and beyond in intercession! The Lord spoke to me, giving me 5 points of direction concerning how intercession will change and needs to change in these coming times. And maybe we should really call these mandates, not just directives.

#1. Intercession needs to concentrate much more on making the Bride ready, His Church, since He is coming soon – sooner than most realize. How often do you hear leaders, intercessors or prayer warriors interceding specifically for making the Bride ready for the Holy Groom? I go to many different intercession groups, often on many prayer conference calls as well, but very rarely do I hear anyone interceding for Jesus’ second coming or for the Bride to be ready. We have done fair in transforming cities and nations and need to continue this wholeheartedly, reviving this type of spiritual warfare – but the Lord says that a major boost needs to take place, concentrating on interceding for His return, bringing in the last boatload of souls, and making the Bride ready. Christians mostly assume that we are fully ready and will hear his trumpet blast but that is not necessarily so. The church in every town and every nation needs to be as cleaned-up as possible with true repentance, getting rid of pride and flesh with total devotion to the Lord, deep in true worship. What would change if all Christians repented and forgave those that they do not agree with and those that have transgressed against them, getting cleansed of bitterness and consternation? I believe that when this forgiveness occurs, most of the world will be saved. Forgiveness is so important to Jesus that He even put it in His prayer instruction (The Lord’s Prayer) in Matt 6:12, “And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” Rev 19:7-8 says, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”

#2. Intercessors, leaders, and prayer warriors need to thoroughly combat witchcraft. There is witchcraft in every town, every city and every nation, usually more active than we are in warfare. Some ministries and churches have suffered greatly because the witchcraft has not been stopped against them – we must wake up, admit this and do something about it. Some are afraid to war against witchcraft in prayer and intercession, with some teaching in intercession circles that witchcraft is too dangerous. Is there anything too dangerous for our God? Is God not more powerful than a witch, or even a coven of witches? Instead of us turning from the battlefield, the witches and warlocks need to be afraid of us and our God. They have taken too much from us for too long; but of course, it must be done wisely and safely. It is time for intelligent instruction in how to safely deal with witchcraft using keys in His Word. Witchcraft, wizardry, sorcery, Santeria, etc. have all increased in these latter years – but have we increased our warfare against it? No – there is seldom warfare taking down these strongholds. We cannot say that “Jesus paid it all” and do nothing. Yes, He surely paid it all so that we can take dominion and fight the good fight, taking down strongholds of the enemy. 1John 4:4 says, “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” The strongholds do not fall by themselves, but His Blood paid the way for us to be able to take them out. Jehoshaphat was told by God, “tomorrow I will fight for you” (2 Chron 20:17) as His instruction for one battle, but it was part of the bigger battle – later in that same chapter in verse 33, Jehoshaphat failed because he did not take down the “high places.” (“Howbeit the high places were not taken away: for as yet the people had not prepared their hearts unto the God of their fathers. And he began to do wickedly.”) We cannot just say, “We come against witchcraft” – we need to take it DOWN by the Blood of Jesus and call for those operating in this satanic realm to be stopped and powerless in Jesus’ name. We can also declare their words, false prophetic acts and tools powerless because of the Blood of the Lamb of God. We need to demonstrate the power of God in this hour so those operating in witchcraft may repent, be saved and use their God-given gifts for the kingdom. Just as Caleb and Joshua saw that they could take down the giants in the Promised Land, so must we with the acknowledgment that since Jesus shed His Blood, it is easier for us to combat giants than it was for them in the Old Testament. Witches and their craft can seem superior to those who do not know their identity, power, and authority but we war with the truth that: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Tim 1:7). In Luke 10:19, Jesus himself says “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

#3. It is time to act as “Deborah’s” in a righteous way, following Holy Spirit’s direction. Many intercessors are called to be “Deborah’s,” to act as judges in intercession in this hour. There is a difference between unrighteous and righteous judgment. We can judge like Deborah in certain situations that are clearly against the will and Word of God as she did in the Old Testament when the people were in deep sin – but now we do it with Holy Spirit. We can judge things like the murder of the unborn as ungodly. We can judge things like greed, racism and self-righteousness as ungodly. We are not to be judgmental or religious but can judge ungodliness in the spirit realm and do something about it through Jesus. As an example, we can declare out loud with such words as: “Lord, we declare you are the destroyer of unrighteousness in my nation,” or “Lord, we declare that you now judge racism and corruption in my area.” Notice, this is not judging the people and not warring against flesh and blood but is judging the action and taking these strongholds down. We can also take things to the courtroom of heaven for the Lord’s judgment. It is God’s business to avenge, not ours, but we can judge the sin and declare salvation for the person/persons involved. As another example, we may declare such words as “I decree that pornography is judged in my city and those involved in these acts or the promotion of it are saved in Jesus’ matchless name.” In that, we have become like Deborah. 2 Cor 10:3-4 says, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.”

#4. Intercessors and all those who intercede need to do so with effective improvements, safer, and with less pride and religiosity. We need to examine our motives and do as the Lord says, following His direction. Jesus only did as He saw the Father do and heard the Father speak and He is our example of the best intercessor, ever. John 5:19 says: “Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise” and so should we. How much more do we servants of God need to follow the Father’s direction in intercession? We need to do more than just talking to God or pleading with God but move into declaring what He says to declare, and binding what He says to bind. True intercession is always prophetic, therefore always safe and the most effective way of getting things accomplished for His kingdom. As we are making the Bride ready, the Bride must be a unified, active and effective, well-taught army with intelligent intercession.

#5. There also needs to be a new understanding and dedication to prophetic dance and dance intercession in coming days. This can involve anointed schools of prophetic dance. Dance intercession is one of the most powerful forms of intercession, and many times the quickest way to get a prayer answered. When dance and flags are done prophetically and the dancer/worshipper follows Holy Spirit’s direction, it is a profoundly powerful prophetic act. It is time for all dancers and flaggers in the Church to know how to do this prophetically, following Holy Spirit, not planned or just waving a flag. David did not dance in the streets in a planned processional, but danced in full whole-hearted worship, with an audience of one unto the Lord, most likely prophetically in 2 Sam 6:14. Dance in the Lord’s Church needs to move to more Holy of Holies worship, more prophetic, with more prophetic acts, and less pageantry and show. Let us recognize that power, and worship profoundly unto the Lord. John 4:24 says, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (KJV).

It can take some time to shift out of old ways of doing things and into the new, but these are imperative directions from the Lord. Add to that fact that these are serious times. Godly change is good and will lead to great things.

I am excited to anticipate the changes that will be made and what miracles, signs and wonders will be seen, how many souls will be saved, and how far-reaching revival will take place all over the world when we embrace improvement and act as He directs in these matters. With this, we will have great success.

Don’t stay in the wilderness by wandering around in the same ol’ pattern….in the same state of doing things… but be the change.

Prophetic Dream: Is Jesus Coming Sooner? Or Later?

JCreturn

By Melissa Nordell

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

(1 Thess 5:1-2 KJV)

I had a prophetic dream recently with 3 vivid scenes that happened one right after the other, and the symbolism was profound in its conclusion.

In the first scene of the dream, I was in a house (representing the Church) where all the people were very concerned about politics and current news, talking, stressing, arguing, and protesting. It isn’t that we are not to be concerned with political issues, it was that they were not in the Word of God and not worshipping the Lord, not evangelizing, no effort to bring in the Harvest or to be ready for Jesus’ return, but spending all their time in political upheaval. God was definitely not their priority as politics was #1. In the dream, I heard the Lord say: “You don’t belong here, for I am coming soon.”

I would in no manner want to downgrade the gifts of those called to the political mountain since it is so needed; what the Lord was saying in this dream is that many in the Church have their focus more on politics, not interceding enough, not asking God how to change what is wrong in the political arena, and most of all not in worship of the Lord. I had the feeling in the dream that some are so entirely focused on and so angry about current events that they may not hear the Lord’s last trumpet call when it sounds and were doing nothing to effect kingdom change.

Next, in the second scene of the dream, I went into another big house (another aspect of the Church) where leaders were very concerned about the people who had missed a meeting or service, not in compassionate concern but deep in worry about a lack of the absent parishioner’s giving and whether the church was declining in attendance. I could see that the leaders felt that the people of the congregation “belonged” to them so these leaders spent most of their time trying to get the people to attend, counting attendance, trying to get back those who had left; but these leaders were not in the Word nor the Presence of God. They were not in faith, not asking God what He wanted them to do as far as worship, direction, and sermons. There was no dependency on the Lord but on man’s ideas of bringing people in. I saw no effort to evangelize here either, just worrying about the already-saved. Some leaders in this dream were saying that the people who had left were either lazy or complacent, with the leaders not seeing that the former congregants may have felt led to leave or wanted a different church for varying reasons. It seemed as if these leaders, as well, would not be able to hear the last trumpet call due to a wrong focus and worry.

I saw much dirt and layers of old dust in this second “house,” which I knew represented religion. I saw clutter since many clothes were strewn all around the house, representing greed as I knew no one could use that many clothes, shoes, and jewelry. With all the various clutter, I also knew that there was no order in the house. I saw dirty dishes strewn all over as if they had just been socializing and no one wished to clean up. I knew this represented the emphasis on socializing; and not worship, not teaching, and not lovingly cleaning up the Bride.

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but you have made it a den of thieves. (Matt 21:13 KJV)

The first two houses represent aspects of His Church that God is concerned with and that need attention. Both represent churches and people who do not have their emphasis on what Jesus said the Church is to be: a house of prayer. These surely were not houses of worship unto the Lord as well but were mainly self-focused. Neither scene showed anyone spending time with Jesus, in His Presence.

Then, in scene three I was outside a large old building with many people on the inside who represented another aspect of His Church. This was like an old building that housed many people on many different floors, and the fact that it was old represented that His Church has been around for a long time. As I was walking towards this huge Church, the Lord said to me: “You must get home quickly now (into this “house”) because your elder brother is coming soon” (Jesus is our elder brother).

I went inside and hurriedly started to tidy up and throw out old and unnecessary things. I also began organizing the contents of the house for my special guest and changed the guest’s sheets as quickly as I could. As I was putting the sheets in a hamper, feeling like there was just a little more to do, I suddenly saw Jesus out the window, arriving in a stretch limousine driven by the heavenly host, some surrounding the limo, all very active and powerful.

Jesus soon came into the Church, bounding up the stairs with such joy, skipping some of the many steps. When He entered, He questioned: “Now why did you think I was coming on the 31st?”

I knew that myself and the other churchgoers were just not quite ready for Jesus to return even though we knew it would be sometime soon. The 31st day of the month represents “the last day(s)”; also meaning that we believed He would come a bit later than actuality.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. (Rev 19:7 KJV)

We know He is coming soon – but do we really realize how soon it will be? And are we interceding for His grand return? Are we interceding that the most people possible can be saved before He comes? Being often in many intercession circles, I rarely hear this type of intercession. Are we interceding and working for the Good News to reach the uttermost parts of the earth so all can hear it? Are we really working on the cleaning up of the Bride, ourselves, and getting things in order?

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. (Eph 5:27 KJV)

The question is also raised: are we really listening for that last trumpet blast, ready at a moment’s notice? Do we just think these times show minor birth pangs or is the head for the birth already crowning?

Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come. (Matt 24:7-8 NLT)

As the Lord indicated in this dream, He is sounding the alarm to alert the Church as to the urgency of the hour. The Church needs to recognize this severity and impending closeness of the hour – that He is coming sooner than later. We must be ready for His return, both individually and corporately, with a cleaned-up, spotless Bride, fully ready for the Groom.

Two days later  I had another dream in which the Lord said that intercessors have been working hard on the transformation of cities, but that He wants transformational intercessors to now concentrate in strategic warfare for the transformation of the Church at large, making the Bride ready.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matt 24:42-44 KJV)
